POSITION SUMMARY

Our client is an established international healthcare business providing specialist clinical and preanalytical products to customers across the public and private healthcare sectors.

They are now seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to support customers across the UK, combining clinical product expertise with customer education, application support and commercial activity.

This is a field-based, customer-facing role working closely with healthcare professionals and internal sales teams. The successful candidate will provide product demonstrations and training, support product evaluations and implementations, and help customers maximise the value and effective use of the company's clinical product portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide clinical and application support to customers across the UK

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key customer stakeholders

  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, training and educational sessions

  • Support product evaluations, implementations and customer projects

  • Provide customers with appropriate product and application guidance

  • Work closely with the sales team to support new and existing commercial opportunities

  • Identify opportunities for increased product adoption, account development and cross-selling

  • Attend customer meetings, site visits and clinical evaluations across the territory

  • Support the resolution of product and application-related queries

  • Communicate customer feedback and market insight to internal commercial and product teams

  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity and application support through CRM

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the clinical product portfolio, market developments and competitor activity

  • Represent the business at relevant exhibitions, conferences and industry events

  • Support wider commercial and customer service objectives across the Clinical Division


PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

We are looking for a confident and credible clinical or healthcare professional who can build strong customer relationships and communicate technical product information clearly to a range of audiences.

  • Experience within a clinical, healthcare, medical device, laboratory or life sciences environment

  • Relevant clinical, scientific or healthcare qualification is advantageous

  • Experience in clinical education, product training, application support or product demonstrations

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Confident engaging with healthcare professionals and stakeholders at different levels

  • Strong customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills

  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of customer and business development

  • Highly organised with good time management skills

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems

  • Full clean UK driving licence required

  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK
